German international star Bastian Schweinsteiger will be leaving Manchester United and signing a one-year contract with the Chicago Fire, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The 32-year old former German national team captain, has had a very limited role this season with the Red Devils and will look to resurrect his career with the Fire.
Chicago currently sits at 7th place in the Eastern Conference standings with four points.
