According to Corriere dello Sport, Inter has their eyes on Tottenham forward Erik Lamela.
The report indicated I Nerazzurri are prepared to offer a swap to the English side, which would send Lamela to Italy and Marcelo Brozović to England.
The Argentine forward has appeared in only nine league games for Spurs this season and has only scored one goal.
He has been sidelined for several months after suffering a hip injury. His contract is set to expire with Tottenham in the summer of 2018.
This wouldn’t be the first time Lamela played in the Serie A. Before transferring to Tottenham, the forward flourished with Roma. In two season with I Giallorossi he found the back of the net 21 times in all competitions.
In the summer transfer window of 2013, Tottenham paid Roma £25.8 million, plus up to £4.2 million in bonus payments. At the moment, the transfer fee made Lamela the most expensive player in club history.
If Lamela were to join Inter, he would be joining a current roster filled with attack-men.

Brozović, the 24-year-old Croatian has only appeared in 16 league games for Inter and has scored only three goals.
However, other reports indicated that Manchester United have their eyes on Brozović and are willing to pay up to £43million for the midfielder.
Although, Inter would receive Lamela if they were to strike a swap with Tottenham, if Manchester United is willing to pay that steep of a price the Italian side will likely side with sending him to United.
