The return of Serie A is here after the international break! This week Milan looks to continue their run towards Europe after being absent for the past few years. On Sunday morning the Rossoneri will be facing off against bottom of the table club Pescara.
Earlier this season the two clubs faced off on October 30th and it was a victory for the Red and Blacks by the score of 1-0 with a goal from Jack Bonaventura. However the club will obviously not have Bonaventura after his season ending injury.
Regardless this should be an easy game for Milan seeing that Pescara is the worst team in the league by far. This is a must grab and must win for Milan, their backs are against the wall and the time is now to consistently pick up 3 points over the course of these next few games.
Player to Watch:
Gerard Deulofeu was a star for Spain over the international break with a goal and penalty won vs. France. He has been a fantastic signing on loan from Everton. Providing Milan with a lot of pace and effort up and down the flank he has caused multiple problems for teams in Serie A. Look for that to continue the rest of the season and this game included.
Pescara has also let in the most goals this season with, 66. Milan has to pour it on this game and should look to keep attacking the weakness of Pescara’s defense.
Prediction: No excuses for Milan this week, if they want Europe they have to win this game and win it convincingly. They’ll win this game by a score of 3-0 with goals from Bacca and Deulofeu.
