Ibrahimovic to the Galaxy?

Over the course of the past few months there have been rumors circulating that legendary forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic might be leaving Manchester United to join the LA Galaxy of the MLS. Ibrahimovic has been asked multiple times over the years about potential moves to America but obviously nothing has come to fruition.

Just last month reporter, Grant Wahl had written an article stating the Galaxy could possibly get into a bidding war with United this summer if the player doesn’t immediately sign an extension. Two of the biggest cities in the world; battling it out for one of the biggest names in the sport itself.

Ibrah playing in LA would be a smashing hit, there is no need to worry about him slowing down because he is the heartbeat of this years United squad and no disrespect to the MLS but, this is the BPL we are talking about. Not to mention all of the glitz and glamour that comes along with LA, that directly fits with Zlatan’s outgoing personality and charisma.

Hollywood would welcome this star with open arms and he would help sellout stadiums across the country and especially on the east coast. There wouldn’t be any pressure because he played in some of the biggest cities in the world, Barcelona, Milan, Paris, Torino and currently Manchester. Jersey sales would go through the roof and he would set the bar even higher for players in the league and he would even inspire a younger generation of players to pick up a ball and start playing.
