For the past few seasons there has been one constant at Chelsea and that is the talent of Eden Hazard. Players and coaches constantly come and go from the club but yet Hazard has found a way to stay put at the club and produce at a high level. He is easily one of the most talented players in the world and one of the best talents Belgium has ever produced.
The ability to take over a game in just minutes is so unprecedented and invaluable that Chelsea must keep him if they want their second Champions League title.
The Blues have all of the resources to win the competition starting with Hazard, a great budget and a fantastic coach in Antonio Conte.
So why leave for a club like Real Madrid? What does that say about his competitive spirit? If you can’t beat them, join them? If Hazard wants to finally be considered among the top players in the sport, he has to rise to the occasion and lead his club to a Champions League final with the help of a talented squad.
Let’s not forget that Hazard wouldn’t even have a position to play at Madrid, unless they wanted to move Ronaldo into the striker position where his abilities might not be best used in that position. Then they have players like Isco waiting on the best that are almost as talented, we have seen players like James Rodriguez and Angel Di Maria sold or benched after fantastic seasons.
Madrid is a revolving door despite all of their success and it would be a poor career decision for Eden Hazard to move there despite all of his talent. There is no doubt that if he were to stay at Chelsea he would be a household name if he brought back that elusive trophy to Stamford Bridge.
