Manchester City wants Coman

Manchester City Manager Pep Guardiola wants to sign current Bayern Munich player, Kinglsey Coman next summer, according to Calciomercato.com via Le Parisien.

Coman joined the German giants in the summer of 2015 on loan from Serie A side Juventus. Bayern paid Juventus €7 million for the two-year loan deal, and it also featured an option to buy.

Bayern would have to pay the Old Lady €21 million in order to make the Frenchman’s move permanent. However, the deadline for the Germans to permanently sign Coman is at the end of the month.

The winger would return to Juventus if Bayern doesn’t make the deal permanent. Therefore, Guardiola has kept his eye on Coman and has pushed for his Premier League side to sign Coman next summer if possible.

The current Bavarian star has displayed his talents with the club and during his time in Italy. Coman has scored two goals in his limited appearances (16) with the Bundesliga side this year. Last season, the 20-year-old scored six goals and recorded 11 assists in all competitions with Bayern. Five of those 11 assists came in the UEFA Champions League.

Coman has gained a reputation for his skilled dribbling and his ability to make key passes. The winger also does well in hold-up play and is able to draw

fouls often.

Bayern Manager Carlo Ancelotti wants to keep Coman and has reportedly approved for Coman’s loan to become permanent. However, the possible signing of Bayer Leverkusen winger Julian Brandt could cause a Coman exit.

Guardiola and Manchester City will continue to monitor the French star’s situation. The Premier League side may pounce if Bayern fails to buy him from Juventus permanently.
